The discussion cum conference on ‘Critical issues of Children & Child Protection’ organized by the Centre for Child & Youth Justice (CCYJ) at NALSAR University of Law in collaboration with the Telangana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (TGSCPCR) focused on several pressing issues affecting children. The key topics discussed included the shortage of child protection manpower, particularly in the Sangareddy district, and the complexities surrounding child labor. Dr. D. Balakrishna highlighted the lack of accurate data on child labor, especially regarding migrant laborers aged 15-18.
